Loretta Borunda, vs. County Of Los Angeles, Permissibly Self-insured,

This case involves a worker’s compensation claim by Loretta Borunda, who was employed as a cardio technician on November 6, 2002. She sustained an injury to her neck, shoulders and back, and also to her psyche. The Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board granted reconsideration of the Findings and Award of October 7, 2009, and amended Finding No. 4 to reflect that applicant sustained industrial injury to the neck, shoulders and back, and amended Finding No. 12 to state that applicant did not sustain compensable industrial injury to her psyche. The Board affirmed the Findings and Award of October 7, 2009 for the reasons stated by the WCJ in his two Reports.
