KRETZCIMAR STEEL/C AND R SALES, INC.; AMERICAN ALL RISK LOSS ADMINISTRATORS, INC. appealed the August 26, 2008 Findings of Fact and Award, wherein the workers’ compensation administrative law judge (WCJ) found that applicant, Jorge Enrique-Perez, sustained an industrial injury to his low back while employed as a steel rebar bender on September 6, 2007, causing temporary disability from October 17, 2007, to the present and continuing, and need for future medical care. The Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board denied the defendant’s petition for reconsideration, finding that the WCJ’s determination was supported by substantial evidence in the record.
