is a case in which Shing Ling Chi, the applicant, filed a petition for reconsideration against LA Trade-Technical College, the defendant. The Workers' Compensation Appeals Board denied the petition for reconsideration, finding that the applicant did not sustain a continuous trauma injury from February 1999 through January 22, 2004. The Board found that the applicant had two separate periods of continuous trauma, the first from March 1993 through September 30, 1998, and the second from February 1999 through January 22, 2004. The Board found that both medical experts found injurious exposure and injury for the period from February 1999 to January 22, 2004, and that the applicant retired in 2004 when she could no longer perform her job due to her condition. The Board ultimately denied the petition
