Petitioner claims that the F & O is not supported by substantial evidence. (STK 0200853)In this case, Sandra Concepcion, an employee of Travis Unified School District, filed a claim for workers' compensation for an injury she sustained while working as a school bus driver. Brook Beasley, a non-attorney, represented her in the case and a compromise and release agreement was approved by a WCJ. Concepcion later contacted the Information and Assistance Unit of the Stockton WCAB District Office and requested reimbursement from Beasley for money she had paid him for his services. A trial was held and the WCJ found that Beasley unlawfully obtained payment from Concepcion and ordered him to repay her.
