RIGOBERTO ITURBIDE vs. WOLFE & KINSLER; PACIFIC COAST LABOR; STATE COMPENSATION INSURANCE FUND

In this case, the lien claimant, Dr. Kevin Aminian, through his representative Ted Durden of Durden & Associates, petitioned for reconsideration of an order dismissing his lien for failure to appear at a lien conference. The Workers' Compensation Appeals Board dismissed the petition for reconsideration due to lack of verification and granted removal on their own motion to issue a notice of intention to sanction Dr. Kevin Aminian, Durden & Associates, and Ted Durden, jointly and severally, in an amount up to $1,500.00 for filing a frivolous and unnecessary petition.
