The WCJ also found that the applicant’s average weekly earnings at the time of injury were $2056.53 per week. Defendant contends that the WCJ erred in finding that applicant’s average weekly earnings at the time of injury were $2056.53, arguing that the WCJ erroneously assumed that checks received by the applicant from January 4, 2004 through February 7, 2004 represented payment for hours worked between January 4,2004 and February 7, 2004. Defendant also contends that the WCJ erred by including paid time off in his calculation of applicant’s average weekly earnings. We have considered the petition for reconsideration, and we have reviewed the record in this matter. We have not received an answer from applicant. The WCJ has filed a Report and Recommendation on Petition for Reconsideration (Report) recommending that the petition be I denied. For the reasons discussed below, we Will grant reconsideration, rescind the March 26, 2009 j1 Findings, Award and Orders, and return the matter to the trial level for further proceedings and a , new decision by the WCJ.
