Martha Cruz WORKERS’ COMPENSATION APPEALS BOARDSTATE OF CALIFORNIA                MARTHA CRUZ, Applicant,    vs.    J & M SALES, INC. dba FALLAS PAREDES,Administered by GALLAGHER BASSETT SERVICES, INC., Defendants.        Case No. ADJ6507062                OPINION AND DECISION AFTER RECONSIDERATION On December 1, 2014, the Workers’ Compensation Appeals Board (Appeals Board)    granted reconsideration of the September 17, 2014 Orderand issued a Notice of Intention to Sanction    lien claimant Dr. John Terrence and the Gonzales law firm.1 This is our Decision After Reconsideration.     In the September 17, 2014 Order, the workers’ compensation administrative law judge (WCJ)    ordered that John Terrence, Psy.D., Ph.D and PainFree Management each shall pay costs in the amount    of $725 .00 to Gallagher Bassett Services.     Lien claimant contends that the WCJ erred in awarding costs for a September 15, 2014 hearing,    arguing that lien claimant never received noticeof the hearing.     The WCJ prepared a Report and Recommendation on Petition for Reconsideration recommending    that reconsideration be denied.     We note that defendant requested costs of $1,090.00. (June 11, 2014 Petition for Costs). The    WCJ awarded costs of $1,450.00. Accordingly, asour Decision After Reconsideration, we will reduce    the award of costs to $1,090.00.
