(BBSI) seeks reconsideration of the December 20, 2016 Findings and Order (F&O), wherein the workers’ compensation administrative law judge (WCJ) found that applicant, while employed as a handyman and property manager on June 17, 2016, sustained industrial injury to his head, neck, back, and right shoulder. The WCJ found that defendant employer was insured for workers’ compensation by BBSI at this time. BBSI contends that the WCJ erred in finding that applicant’s employer was insured for workers’ compensation by BBS] at the time of applicant’s injury. BBSI argues that it was not a party to the case at the time of trial and was denied due process, noting that it was not served with the F&O. BBSI also notes that defendant employer “never provided any information to BBSI regarding applicant[, and] he was never processed by BBSI’s intake procedure and BBSI has no coverage of applicant either in terms of employment or workers’ compensation insurance.” (Petition for Reconsideration [Petition], p. 3:23-25.) We have reviewed the Answer filed by defendant employer (Nijjar Realty, D/B/A Pama Management), in which defendant employer states that it “has accepted responsibility for the finding of industrial injury and employment and that coverage was not provided by BBSI.” (Answer, p. 2:1-2.) The trial WCJ having retired, no Report and Recommendation on Petition for Reconsideration was , prepared. We have considered the Petition, the Answer, and the contents of the Report, and we have reviewed the record in this matter. Fo
