ADJ672705 (ANA0348598) MFADJ786706 (ANA0334510)ADJ1359776 (AHM0072658)(Santa Ana District Office)OPINION AND ORDER GRANTING PETITION FOR RECONSIDERATION AND DECISION AFTER RECONSIDERATION Defendant ACE USA (ACE/USA) seeks reconsideration of the November 29, 2012 Findings And Award of the workers’ compensation administrative law judge (WCJ) who found in ADJ672705 that applicant sustained cumulative injury to both arms while employed by Universal Alloy Corporation (Universal) as a press operator during the period June 15, 1998 to September 20, 2000, causing 40% permanent disability after apportionment and a need for future medical treatment. The WCJ further found that the California Insurance Guarantee Association (CIGA) be dismissed as a party defendant in ADJ672705 because “there is ‘other insurance’ and the liability for this case” is solely with ACE/USA, and found that ACE/USA be allowed credit for temporary disability indemnity and permanent disability indemnity paid by CIGA “and is to reimburse CIGA for the amounts for which they take credit against the applicant’s Award.” An award issued against ACE/USA based upon those findings.
