ADJ8532165ADJ10274610ADJ8532163 (Van Nuys District Office)OPINION AND ORDER GRANTING PETITION FOR RECONSIDERATION AND DECISION AFTER RECONSIDERATION Defendant seeks reconsideration of the Findings and Awards (F&A) issued by the workers’ compensation administrative law judge (WCJ) on March 5, 2018, wherein the WCJ found in pertinent part as follows: In Case number ADJ8532165, that applicant sustained injury to his low back on May 14, 2008; that applicant was entitled to additional temporary disability indemnity benefits for the period of May 11, 2012, through July 10, 2012, at the rate of $986.00 per week, less credit to defendant for all sums previously paid on account thereof as to this injury; that applicant sustained 23% permanent disability after apportionment for a total of $27,312.50 less credit for payments made as to this injury; that the reasonable value of the services rendered by applicant’s attorney was $4,090.00; and that defendant’s petition for credit was denied except as noted herein. In Case number ADJ10274610, that applicant sustained injury to his low back during the period of May 1, 1998, through April 10, 2012; that applicant was not entitled to additional temporary disability indemnity benefits; and that applicant sustained no permanent disability as a result of this injury.
