Therein, the WCJ found, based on the parties’ prior stipulations, that applicant, while employed during the period from 1997 through February 16, 2001, sustained industrial orthopedic injury. The WCJ further found that, pursuant to Labor Code1 section 5412, the date of applicant’s injury was February 17, 2001, which is the date upon which she first sustained compensable temporary disability; that the one-year period of liability pursuant to section 5500.5 is from February 16, 2000 through February 16, 2001; and that there is good cause to dismiss Legion Insurance, in liquidation, and California Insurance Guarantee Association (CIGA) as party defendants.
