Cervantes vs. Riverside Facilities: Workers’ Compensation Case

is a case in which Erika Cervantes, an employee of the County of Riverside, filed an application for injury arising out of and occurring in the course of her employment. Lien claimant Basso Pharmacy filed a timely Petition for Reconsideration, objecting to the Order of Dismissal. The Workers' Compensation Appeals Board reviewed the allegations of the Petition for Reconsideration and the contents of the report of the workers' compensation administrative law judge and denied reconsideration. The Board noted that the Notice of Intent to Dismiss the lien was served on Basso Pharmacy at its correct address.
