Deborah Cameron vs. Onsite/Allegis Group: Kemper Insurance Case
In this case, Deborah Cameron, an employee of Onsite/Allegis Group, administered by Broadspire, was denied workers' compensation benefits after sustaining an injury in the form of a hernia. The Workers' Compensation Appeals Board granted reconsideration, rescinded the Findings, Order and Order of Suspension, and returned the matter to the Presiding Workers’ Compensation Judge for assignment of this case to a WCJ. The Board found that the WCJ had issued the F & O without conducting a hearing or providing the parties with notice and an opportunity to be heard, and without any medical evidence to support the finding of lack of competence.
