This is our Decision After Reconsideration.1 Defendant, the Regents of the University of California, UCLA Medical Center, seeks reconsideration of the Second Joint Findings and Award issued by the workers’ compensation administrative law judge (WCJ) on May 2, 2018. In that decision, the WCJ found that applicant. Dawn Leah Guritzky. sustained industrial injuries to her back, shoulders, and psyche on both January 19, 2003 (Case No. ADJ1140304) and February 10, 2004 (Case No. ADJ268422) while employed as a registered nurse by the UCLA Medical Center. In relevant part, the WCJ further found that these injuries combined to cause 100% permanent disability with no legal basis for apportionment.Defendant’s petition for reconsideration contends that the WCJ erred in finding 100% permanent disability without apportionment. Applicant filed an answer contending that the WCJ’s decision should be affirmed. The WCJ issued a Report and Recommendation on Petition for Reconsideration (Report) recommending that her May 2,2018 decision be affirmed. 1 After our Order Granting Petition for Reconsideration, panelist Deputy Commissioner John F. Shields retired from state service. Deputy Commissioner Patricia A. Garcia has been substituted in his place. , We have reviewed the record, including the contents of defendant’s petition, applicant’s answer, and the WCJ’s Report. Based
